HELLO and welcome to wednesday. Today is #NationalStressDay and I am here to tell you why today is also a convenient day if you too are dealing with stress or anxiety of any kind.

I don’t want to be cavalier about a topic such as mental health. Working in that sector, as well as a lot of people I know suffering from an array of mental health issues, I know that it is very sensitive and individualistic to each person. I have suffered with anxiety over the years. It’s affected me in all kinds of ways that I will openly discuss one day. But right now I’m not here to talk about that. I’m here to talk about the help that is available. One thing I find when I’m feeling particularly anxious is that I never have any immediate help. You may half consider calling the GP to make an appointment but know that you’ll most likely just be given a box of pills which side effects will be worse than the anxiety itself. You could wait for CBT or to see a specialist but for me, I don’t live the kind of life where I can spend 8 weeks waiting for an appointment. This is an age where we need things now. We can order Nandos to our apartment door in under 30 minutes (if you’re lucky), we can book a wax at the touch of an app, we can pay using our fingerprint. FINALLY thanks to Mindbox, we can speak to a therapist trained to the highest industry standards 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

I’m so excited to introduce Mindbox – the first online therapy website of its kind. If you suffer from anxiety or general stress then you’ll know that there are moments in which you need help in instant. Anxiety isn’t particularly picky about who it chooses to target, and it can creep up on you ANY time whether you’re having the best day of your life or the worst.

Mindbox was created by TV presenter and all around hun Anna Richardson. What you probably didn’t know about Anna is that she is also a qualified cognitive hypnotherapist. Anna wanted to create a space where people can turn to for help without the obstacles that so often keep people from feeling better. Whether it be long NHS waiting lists, or expensive private therapy sessions.

Mindbox Live contains a range of therapists all with different specialities. The therapists are available by phone call, video call or even text making it highly accessible whatever your circumstance. Therapy is available in 18 different languages including deaf therapists who can assist in sign language making the service as inclusive as possible.
