7 Questions That Need Answering During Season 7 Of Game Of Thrones

Hey guys welcome back to my Game Of Thrones Countdown! Today I’m talking through the questions that are burning through my mind on the reg! For the first time in GOT history, we are entering a season with the knowledge of exactly how many are episodes are left until the shows finale. With this time bomb on, each and every minute is vital. There are realistically hundreds of questions that need answering this season, but these are a few examples of what has had me thinking lately!

  1. Just how bad can Euron Greyjoy be?

Pilot Asbaek who is playing Euron has talked In the press of just how evil Euron is going to be. With us only just ridding the evil that took the form of Ramsay Bolton, it’s hard to imagine anyone that could be worse.  But that’s what Game Of Thrones does best. When you think it can’t get any worse, it does. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly on comparisons to Ramsay Pilot said ‘I’m more like a hooligan. The guy you met at the Kingsmoot is not the guy you will meet on his ship – he’s different with different people to get what he wants.’ He then spoke to Empire Magazine and claimed ‘after this season, Ramsay’s going to look like a little kid.’

2. Will Sansa stay true to Jon?

Last season after Jon & Sansa reunited, there were ever so slight subtle flickers of doubt coming across from Sansa. With Littlefinger behind every step she takes, who’s to say whether he will manipulate Sansa. I’d like to think that as a Stark she will stand strong behind her decision to back Jon, but it would be interesting t o see whether Littlefinger would get in the way of that. It would be kind of annoying for her overall character development though because she has already took this slight route of betrayal when she was in love with Joffery as a child therefore for her to returnto asimilar place where she’s for lack of better words DICKIN on her family would be a bit annoying.

3. What will Bran do with all his new found knowledge?

Bran has had an exciting couple of months. He’s found out some VERY interesting things including Jons true heritage. But what will he decide to do with this information? Should he stay put and carry on working on becoming the Three Eyed Raven, or will he head south to Winterfell to inform Jon of all he never knew. One thing is certain – he has been touched by The Night King. He’s placed his mark on Bran, but what are the consequences of this?

4. Gendry – new phone who dis?

Gendry disappeared back in season 3 when he rowed, rowed, rowed his boat the hell away from Dragonstone after hearing Melisandre just might want to burn him. Could he be tipped for a reappearance this season? A return for Gendry would mean that their would be another contender for the throne. Gendry is afterall Robert Baratheons only remaining son which gives him a solid claim to the throne. Joe Dempsie who plays Gendry has been spotted around a few of the filming locations this year so for now, it seems he may just be.

5. Will Melisandre know of Daenerys’ arrival in Westeros

Melisandre sees things. We get that. But how much does she see exactly? She seemed to predict the mutiny of Jon Snow, yet didn’t predict Stannis’ defeat. After being banished by Jon, nobody knows where her fires will take her next. She still stands by the fact that Jon is the Prince That Was Promised. What will she do with this inclination? Who will listen to her?

6. What will become of Jaime & Cersei

Jaime has seen Cersei do some bad shit in their time but nothing like burning the entire of Baelors sept to the ground. Will he stick by his sister or will he try and join Tyrion. Cersei was warned by the witch in the woods to beware of the Valonqar. Valonqar of course meaning brother in Old Valyrian. Which brother will her death be at the hands of?

7. When will The White Walkers move down south

Up to now, it feels as though we have been watching two different shows entirely. The drama in the south is very much petty and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Comparing that to what the Nights Watch and Bran have had to deal with and it’s quite trivial. It’s almost strange to picture a scene with say Cersei and The Night’s King because they seem so far removed. When will these two storys meet? Will it be this season or will that be how the show finds its close.
