This week held the most luxurious, magical and intricately beautiful events in the fashion calendar – Haute Couture Week. Held twice a year in Paris, Haute Couture has been lavishly coveted since the 19th century where French socialites flocked couture houses for bespoke garments that would make them stand out from the rest of the 19th century basics. To achieve HC status, a fashion house has to legally comply with the requirements laid down y the French Ministry of Industry and the Fédération Française de la Couture. This season was as incredible as ever with Fendi’s 90th anniversary at the Trevi fountains, and Valentino’s Shakespeare salute. Take a look at my favourite looks from the shows this week!
