June is all about taking care of your skin and maintaining beauty looks in the heat. Especially with the glorious weather thats been surprising the UK lately! Here’s a list of my top ten favourite beauty buys for June!
I usually opt for powder instead of pencil when it comes to my eyebrows but I’m obsessing over Benefits new brow range! Especially this Goof Proof Brow Pencil. Easy application and great finish!
I can’t get enough of oiling up my skin because I have so many problem areas. I apply this amazing coconut oil onto damp skin after a bath. I honestly wish I could somehow capture the scent of this online because the vanilla smell is U N R E A L. Chances are if you see me in work I’ll be stood with a bottle of this in my hand getting a good old whiff of heavenly vanilla. Available to buy in store or at urbanoutfitters.com
I am in love with Estee Lauders new collection The Estee Edit which is inspired by Kendall Jenner. This is not your average Kardashian inspired collection but an essential tool for all everyday photo ops. This Flash Powder contains blue light reflecting pigments to create a wonderful luminous effect.
At £42 this foundation is a little pricier than I usually would spend, but it is so worth the money. I think that some things are worth spending a little more money on and one is my face! This Giorgio Armani foundation uses a micro-fil technology to lift and firm your face and honestly it sits like magic! According to the official description “This elastic matrix seals in a high concentration of exclusive emollients and velvet filters that immediately lift, soften and firm the skin surface.” I prefer this foundation to the Giorgio Armani luminous skin foundation (although blending a small amount of Luminous Skin over your contour over your Designer Lift works well)
Embryolisse is an amazing french moisturiser which works wonders on my dry cheeks. I use this before I apply makeup because it works well as a primer and doesn’t at all effect the texture of my foundation. I got this tip from an incredible MUA & I’ve stuck with it ever since. Available at urbanoutfitters.com
If you’re looking for the perfect liquid lipstick then look no further. At a bargain price of 6.50 these NYX Liquid Suedes are the perfect dupe for a Kylie Lipkit. My friend at work introduced me to them and I wore this colour for 12 hours in which time I worked, ate, drank, etc without needing to reapply once! The color is extremely pigmented and the brush is good enough to not need to use a lipliner with it.
Can’t get your hands on Kylie Lip Kit Dolce K? Then this NYC Liquid Suede colour is for you. The shade softspoken is an all round perfect nude. I can’t speak highly enough about these products!
Another amazing product from The Estee Edit! This pore vanishing stick is the easiest way to give your skin a good flaw blurring pre-makeup. I usually use creams to do that but this stick is way easier! Honestly if I could post the whole collection here I would but go check it all out on their site!
My hair falls out really easy – (probs cause I don’t own a brush and only wash it every 10 days lol) – no, because of how thick and curly it is. This is probably making it more wild but it’s definitely helped to strengthen it and I don’t malt as much anymore which means it’s getting longer yipee! Feels slightly strange when you apply the shampoo but once the conditioner is on it’s all good. Available at Urban Outfitters in store and online.
Estee Lauder Double Wear is another foundation I’m loving at the moment. The thick coverage covers all of my uneven skin tones to create the perfect base. It also lasts for 15 hours! It really, really makes your skin look flawless. I would recommend for anybody looking to cover up stubborn redness!
