MAC COSMETICS Viva Glam – World Aids Day

World AIDS day falls annually on the 1st December. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to commemorate those affected by the virus, those fighting it, and those who have died from it. Since the first world AIDS day in 1988, there have been many fundraising ideas in an attempt to raise money for NAT (National AIDS Trust.)

One of my favourite ways to help make a difference to those suffering with HIV & AIDS is of course, the Mac Cosmetics Viva Glam collections. Begining in 1994, Mac continue to raise money through limited edition lip colours of which the full RRP price is donated to the MAC AIDS fund.

My favouirite Viva glam lipstick was the Nicki Minaj one which after buying 4 of, my replenishment has very nearly ran out (waaaaah.) I most recently opted for Viva Glam II which is a pinky taupe colour and definitely the nude of the season. I’ve put it in the middle of two other Mac nudes (Velvet Teddy and Spirit) so you can see what kind of spectrum it falls on.
