Last night stars and fans flocked to the Tower of London for the season premiere of Game of Thrones. The fifth season is due to be released in April – just in time for the HBO streaming service launch. A large proportion of the cast were in attendance for the viewing of S05E01 and appeared to have a merry old time at the celebrations afterwards. Fashion highlight of the night was the phenom Gwendoline Christie in the most beautiful of monochrome regal gowns. I’m so jealous that she can look so fab in a dress wearing flats. No wonder she looks as though she was having the most fun. At 6’3 Gwendoline soars above the other cast members in beauty and in grace!
Sophie Turner chose a backless black Marios Schwab dress with nude sheer panelling which she wore excellently with her fresh natural makeup look. I’m really looking forward to the building of Sansa Starks character in this upcoming season and I don’t think Sophie T will let us down in her portrayal.
Natalie Dormer skipped the red carpet but made it for the viewing and after party and looked her usual gorgeous self in this navy plunge gown. Does she ever look bad though. Ever.
I debate daily who I prefer on a red carpet, Kit Harrington or Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. It doesn’t matter – they are both other worldly.
Obara Sand, played by Keisha Castle-Hughes. Nym Sand, played by Jessica Henwick. Rosabell Laurenti Sellers as Tyene Sand.
I REALLY HOPE THAT THESE GIRLS EXCELL IN THEIR ROLES AS NOTHING UPSETS ME MORE THAN SHIT ACTORS LANDING DREAM ROLES! and to play a Sand – dream role!
SO THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS
