After weeks of rumours it was confirmed today by TOPSHOP that they are soon to be collaborating with no other than Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
It isn’t the first collection the sisters have worked on together as they already have lines with PacSun & Madden Girl. Despite this, making the international move is a huge career step for the two of them. Especially for Kylie who’s fashion credentials don’t cover the same kinda names that Kendall walks for. Kendall has previously fronted campaigns for Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, and Estee Lauder and has walked in numerous high fashion catwalk shows such as Givenchy and Chanel. Not forgetting Dolce & Gabbana which was in my opinion her best show yet.
Sure to be successful, the details behind the collection are yet to be revealed however I can confirm that it is set to be a summer campaign which will be inspired by their LA lifestyle and their “Modern, Eclectic Design Aesthetic.”
It was only a matter of time before a member of the Kardashian clan made their mark on Topshop, and after a few hit and miss collections with Lipsy and Dorothy Perkins it half surprised me it wasn’t the three older sisters. Kendall & Kylie make a lot more sense in this store however and with Kendalls BFF Hailey Baldwin now modelling for Topshops new denim campaign i’m sure that this collection will be 10x more successful than the Kardashian Kollection. Both sisters were pictured in LOVE magazine which is out this week. I LOVE Kylies blonde look in this shoot by Steven Klein. Do you dig or should she stay dark?
